Canfield Can Diggle

Canfield Brothers have just finished up their production run of bikes for this year and they’ve got some really great new ones to oogle over. More details inside on the Can Diggle.
We got a hold of one of their prototype ONE’s and have some info coming before the end of the month on it so check back later on it. It’s a 7″ frame with an 8″ option as well and so far its been quite impressive going up the hill as well as down.
The CanDiggle is the beefed up version of the ONE and it packs some nice modifications that’ll put a smile on your face. If you want one now, you can get expedited shipping for a limited time if you contact them.

What an insane frame! Wait until people ride this bike and the One…it will blow them away.
Canfield easily has the best frames out there and after being on a F1 Jedi, I do not think I could ride anything else for suspension.
Support these guys….they have worked their ass off for years and are, hands down, some of the best people we know (let alone their frames this year).

i dont get why they HAD to make the seat tube all bent. that bike would be 2x sweeter with a basically full length seat tube

You can fit a full length post in there easy enough. If you get a chance to see one you’ll see there’s plenty of room to lower the seat enough. The tube had to be bent to allow for the FD and pivot locations.

What kind of suspension design would that be classified as? Really like what I have heard about Canfield’s but want to get an idea as to what to expect coming from 3 years on VPP fames.

It would be classified as a short link 4 Bar VPP

not really a “VPP” but a parallel link 4-bar. the way of the future. These guys are friends of mine and I always loved them for what they are doig, they have always been WAY ahead of the times and the times are finally catching up to them! I know they will do well.

Hmmm, those links don’t look to parallel to me… I’d say VPP is a better description. I hear these bikes ride amazingly, but I couldn’t tell you why. The VPP is pretty low, unlike other Canfield designs, so you get minimum rearward axle path. The shock actuation looks quite linear, which is kinda old school. And the geometry is not exactly special…not keen on the long chainstays. But one thing that is definitely cool - 12 link colors!!!

All of our frames are short link 4 bar virtual pivot point designs. The temp parallel link comes from off road trucks and, in the beginning, was the basis for our design. We have loosely used that term a lot but it’s not totally accurate. Not being truly parallel is what modifies the axle path.

it is an amaizig frame ,the 12 link colors are really crazy shit. im going to love when you guys bring to us a canfield…i m from morelia mexico.chile bike shop.
