Nigel Page Stripped of Masters Downhill Title

Bike Radar caught up with Nigel Page and found out from the man about his Master’s DH title being stripped. According to Page, it turns out he was not eligible to race the Master’s but was told otherwise.
“I applied to race through British Cycling as I was told I qualified to race Masters. British Cycling then registered me through the UCI who accepted my entry. I therefore had no reason to believe I was entering a race I was not eligible for.” Page

man that sucks. if they accepted his liscense fee then they should let him keep the title. its there fault. It would be like winning the lottery and getting the money and then months later have them come to you and say, “oh yeah sorry about that we screwed up and we’ll need that money back.” boo UCI!!!!
