Site Mini Update

As you may have already noticed, we have taken down the ad on the right side bar as well as added a few other things to the sidebar areas. We’re always looking for new ways to get connected to more readers and let them know of updates to our content. Check inside to find out about some of the new additions.
Sidebars:
As we mentioned we have taken down the sidebar ad for the moment to see about getting the front page to load quicker and be less intrusive. We may not stay totally ad-less on the front page forever but for now we’re trying it out.
We’ve added in it’s place a new article banner to let readers know what our latest major article is.
We’ve also added a “Get Connected” area. Many of us have other means of keeping up to date with our friends and groups so we thought we’d put ourselves out there as well. Both our MySpace and Facebook pages have RSS feeds to keep everyone up to date on our latest posts.
Newsletter:
We’re also going to be launching a monthly newsletter for our subscribers. This newsletter will include the top viewed articles of the month along with added articles we’ll write specifically for the newsletter covering a range of topics. We’re also going to include some hot forum topics we come across in our travels as well as a monthly giveaway for our newsletter readers.
Your suggestions:
We’re always more than willing to hear from the readers of the site. We’re very happy to see a lot of you commenting on news stories and articles. Keep it up! We’d also like to know what you’d like to see in the newsletter, ideas for tech articles, and anything else you think we’re skimping on. We’ve already implemented several reader suggestions and it has only improved the site.

I agree with Tony D! Love the site, and it’s kept me going through injuries and now winter. You guys are doing great.
