2008 Team Lapierre : Saab Salomon

Monday, January 7th, 2008

Team Lapierre sent through some images/info on their new bikes the team will be on in 2008. The team powered by Saab Salomon will be using this model derived from Nicolas Vouilloz and World Cup races. Many changes have transpired and the prototype is still being tested intensely for a future version. If you look carefully, you can see a lot of very interesting pieces on this bike. See more inside.

At Lapierre they say they do not bring out a product until it is ready and that further details will be given at a later time. Expect to see this same frame to be able to purchase once they have everything dialed in and more testing is done on it. I would expect the consumer version to protect the shock like previous Lapierre versions.

Danny Hart and the rest of the Team Lapierre will be ripping it up on this bike in the upcoming season guided by team leader David Vasquez.

Approximately 17.6 kg complete bike (3700g frame)
Technology: FPS2 (200mm travel)
