Spank Lounge Bar and Not 1.5 Timer Stem

Spank Bikes has got a certain style to it that draws riders to check out their product. They’re being distributed in the USA now by BTI-USA. We got a hold of the Spank Lounge 30 bar, and the Not 1.5 Timer stem. Check it out inside.

Both of these components are part of the Spank White Collection and they’ve got a unique look to them.

The Spank Lounge bar is made out of 6061 alloy and is double butted. It is 700mm (27.5″) wide with a 5 degree upsweep and a 8 degree backsweep. MSRP is $45.

It’s available in a 30mm (shown below) or 50mm rise in 31.8mm stem clamping option. The bar weighs in at 391g.  If you’re going to cut the bars down, you’ll have to use a measuring tape as these bars don’t have marks on the ends to help you cut them.

The Spank Not 1.5 Timer Stem is a 1 1/8″ steerer tube clamping stem that is 50mm long. MSRP is $40.

It’s made of 6061 alloy and has a 31.8mm clamp for the stem. The stem is clean and unique.

It’s no lightweight at 244g, and could use some stronger powder coating as well inside the bolt area. Some additional machining could also be done inside to save some weight.

Spank Bikes has got a lot of other parts available as well that you can check out on their website. Any bike shop should be able to order these or any of their parts for you through BTI. Or as always, you can get Chad at RedBarnBicycles to order you up a set. These parts are competitively priced, but aren’t the lightest parts out there.
