Review: Specialized Lo Pro Mag II Pedals
Tuesday, October 16th, 2007Pedals are always an important aspect of any bike build. They are a highly personal decision and each rider has their own style of pedal that they like. We spent some time on Specialized’s Lo Pro Mag II pedals to see how they felt and functioned. You can check out what we thought was good as well as some of the issues we had in the full review.

I run these pedal’s for almost a year now on my ex-’06 speci enduro and they simply rock. Low profile, very good grip when using the right shoe’s(in my case some Van Off the Wall skatestyle) no problem with the short pin’s. Allthought for wet/ muddy condition’s you might want some longer’s one’s. No play in them as of yet.
They don’t cost the world like some other’s and the nut that secure’s the whole thing isn’t that tricky if you lock tite it from the get go. I would however suggest like this article says to recheck reguraly cause you don’t want it to turn itself loose.
All in all i’m very happy with these pedal’s, they do their job good. Be advised, shin protection is advisable.

I simply love those pedals, but 80$ is too much.
In the review, you talked about removing bent pins, the best way to do it not messing with the threads is to cut or grind to pin as close as you can to the pedal body and then unscrew it. but it’s a lot of work for each pin…
