Lopes will be signed again in no time .Its probably the best thing that could have happened to him as there are so many other companies that make better bikes than those shitty GTs anyways….GOOD LUCK BL!!!

Bad Bad move on GT’s part unless Lopes pissed them off but how pissed off can they be for winning all the championships he won this year, sounds like something team Honda would do. SCREWY LOUIE

Lopes would shred on a Rampant, but anyone who signs him is going to have to pony up a few bucks.
Just speculating, but I imagine GT doesn’t have the marketshare to hold Brian. They *may* be forecasting he might not be as competitive in the coming years.

I think he will ride with Gracia for Commencal aswell, but i guess we will have to wait and see!

hahaha, I’d love to see him shredding on the banshee rampant, but unfortunately, we are not a multi million $ company, so can’t afford to harness this mans skills!

I heard he put the owner of GT in a head lock after the worlds and said where is my raise, and 30 days later he was fired! lopes can be manipulative and a someone who will think about himself and not others. this is what led to his getting layed off. But like all of the best riders he will find a ride. but his 6 figure contract with GT will be hard to replace. Hopefully Lopes will learn something from this and he will treat people better and not be a guy who causes problems. He is better then this and there is no reason for him to do stupid things.

I think BL should try to eek out a deal with specialized. They need a
good racer on their team and they can definitely support him.
Also he would help them develop a highly needed new DH frame as well as a 4x.
