At speeds like that, I can see why he stole his helmet from the Rocketeer
I thought they stopped this kind of riding when that guy in the infamous youtube video sheared his head-tube off at 170kph and went ragdolling down a scree slope

I think that volcano run you’re thinking of the headtube separated and he went barreling down? I think that bike was built a bit weak too..
Bart , i’m not 100% familiar with Christian Taillefer’s record but he went 134mph down a glacier from what i recall. Different terrain perhaps = different record. This record that Markus did was in the Chilean Alps where he hit a speed of 210.4 km/h (130.7 mph). He shattered the previous record by an incredible 23 km/h (14 mph).
