    Hard to say which i prefer, both have their benefits. It really depends on what bike it would go on. They both have their benefits and setbacks. Neither brake is lightweight if that’s what you’re after.

    If you don’t care about weight, can get the lever far enough inboard on your bars, and need a really powerful brake in steep descending, the Moto V2 is a good choice. It might cost a good bit depending where you live.

    If you care about weight a little bit, and want a cheap powerful brake (doesn’t modulate its power as well), the Code is a good choice.
