Dobermann prototype short travel fully

Monday, September 17th, 2007

It seems like everyone is starting to build short travel fully’s! Dobermann’s got a new prototype they’re working on that fits in this category. 3-4″ travel. Check it out the rough prototype so far. It’ll be interesting to see if this fully will require a single speed tensioner or not.

The prototype has got some simplicity to it and I like the raw look. Pink Straitline pedals and stem.

Pretty sweet. Does it use flex-stays for suspension?

I think the burly short-travel fullies can be a good choice over some hard-tails for a lot of riders. I think we’ll see a lot of them in the future
who doesn’t want a bike that remains super responsive, doesn’t wallow in travel & takes the sting taken out jumping?

    looks good

karpshun - The pivot rotates around the BB.  It looks like it will be a concentric design so no chain tensioner will be needed as well.

whats the hub spacing on this rig?? is it 110 or 135 mm??

  8. sicklines Says:

    Sky - 135mm

Thanks Sick, I couldn’t quite tell from the pix that it was flex or concentric.

Why must 2008 have so many sweet bikes? I can only buy one :(
