Lopes win’s Aug. 18th Jeep KOTM Race
Monday, August 20th, 2007Brian Lopes of Laguna Beach, Calif. captured the men’s title, putting him in a two-way tie for first place in the overall standings heading into the season’s final race. On the women’s side, Anneke Beerten of the Netherlands earned the win, which also placed her in a tie for first place overall.

3. Fionn Griffiths - UK
The competitors were battling for a share of the record $100,000 prize purse and the keys to a new 2008 Jeep Liberty. Points will be accrued throughout the season to determine the 2007 World Professional Champion.
The race from San Luis Obispo will be televised on Sept. 23 from 5-6 p.m. (EST) on CBS Sports.
The grand finale of the 2007 season will take place on Saturday, September 1 at the Beaver Creek Resort in Beaver Creek, Colo.
