Sinister Prototype?

I don’t understand the point of a Totem either…A lyric/36/55 would suit it a little better.
It’s billed as a trail bike…but seems to have a bit of an identity crisis

haha, identity crisis indeed. I think 07/08 has proved that time and time again… people love taking these bikes out of their intended purposes I think. More power to them, but i too think it would shine better with a more appropriately matched fork.

Looks like a slightly beefed up Santa Cruz Heckler to me - like you guys say the fork is a bit of an overkill too.
Call me picky but the cable routing doesn’t look to hot either (updated shot on their site shows zip ties down the top-tube holding things in place.

Hey i personally know the guy that built this up and the only reason a totem is on there is because that is the only fork he had laying around. i have seen another built up with a nixon super.

An other prototype from Sinister…..do you remember the exciting product from them that uses their VST suspention? The Passion and the Poison. They haven’t came out with those yet. So when is this one going to be due for?

just because its a proto type doesnt mean they are have to come out with it.
