2008 Shimano XT Preview

Shimano had their new M775 brake levers on display. The lever now utilizes tool free adjustments and offer a 20% increase in power when used with their new M775 XT brake caliper.
The levers also offer adjustable free-stroke and quicker engagement than their older models with Shimano Servo Wave technology.
The m775 XT caliper is made using mono block construction to over higher rigidity and lighter weight. The 2008 XT caliper will be compatible with all current hardware and pads.
The new Shimano M772 XT shadow rear derailleur has a lot of nice features that have been incorporate specifically for extreme terrain riders. The derailleur was designed to have a smaller profile so that it is less like to get hit by obstacles while riding. They’ve also designed the derailleur with a tighter spring so that the derailleur body is more stable during rough sections of trail.
