Motion Lingo Adeo Recieves Updates
Thursday, March 29th, 2007We did a review on the Motion Lingo Adeo and one of the things we wanted to see it do, export KML/GPX, wasn’t in place yet. The Motion Lingo team has now impleted this feature as well as some more advanced community based programing to make Motion Lingo even better.
If you’re not familiar with what the Adeo is, check out our review of it. Its basically a device you can use in conjunction with your mp3 player to track your progress while exercising and give you live updates. It has GPS in it so once you get back from your ride, you can track your progress. Now you can export the GPS data out of the Adeo and into Google Earth, or any other GPS software!

At only $149.99, its an amazing deal!
The new features include:
- Users can create their own social network of MotionTrak Online users called Trak Friends. Trak Friends can view shared content (i.e. activities) and can leave messages and comments for each other.
- You can now share your activities, activity maps, training calendar and/or events with your Trak Friends. This is configurable via the new Community MySettings tab.
- Now that you have a few Trak Friends, how do I communicate with them? The answer is MotionTrak Mail. Located within the community section, MotionTrak mail allows you to send/receive an unlimited number of messages to those within your network.
- Leave your Trak Friends comments on a particular activity or picture.
- Everyone loves pictures! Now you can upload multiple pictures and/or photo albums which can be shared amongst your Trak Friends. You can also manage the comments left by other users.
- There are a host of new management tools and settings available via the new Community MySettings tab!

is this update something that is retrofittable to older adeo’s? guess i’m confused if this is new functionality on the software end or if it’s a hardware upgrade.
