Thursday, February 22nd, 2007So its getting to get close to that time to start getting new gear for the new season and chances are you just might need a new helmet. Toby Henderson Enterprises (T.H.E.) has two fresh looking helmets for 2007 (one composite, and one carbon) that might fit your tastes.
T.H.E. ONE composite helmet came in under its claimed weight which is always a nice thing to see and esthetically the helmet has some nice curves and features to keep you looking fly and still offer great protection.

I just got one of these from the THE guys at Sea Otter. I tried it on and it felt comfortable. After a few rides, I’m pretty happy with it, though I do notice that the ’soft finish’ is very susceptible to marks. Just touching a tire in the back of my pickup and i’ve got skidmarks down one side. That may also be the light grey color I got. Aside from that though, it’s very comfortable, not heavy, good visibility and not too hot when you’re moving. Taking out the cheekpads for a climb cools it way down.
