Kona D.O.P.E System
Thursday, January 11th, 2007Brake Therapy has been making floating disc brake systems for awhile now and more manufactures are jumping on board. D.O.P.E integrates Brake Therapy’s Floating disc brake into the frameset. D.O.P.E stand for Dropout Performance Enhancement. Similarly, we posted a similar device made for the Trek Session earlier.

While this video shows what happens when you slam on the rear brake, proper braking (pulsing the brakes and not locking up your rear wheel) can alleviate a lot of this problem.
