Thursday, November 30th, 2006We’ve got quite the versatile bike featured in this review. The Banshee Chaparral is marketed as a Freeride Trail bike but it’s capable of much more. With multiple options available on the Chaparral, it can be confiugred to handle just about anything. To see what we thought you can check out the review here.

Quite a fair, thorough and brutally honest review - keep up the good work.
We have already started to work on some of the issue you identified, such as more clearance for the seatstay yoke/2.5 tire, and although the tire doesn’t rub it could use a little more space, so thanks for the suggested improvements.
I think we should get you first crack at our 08 prototypes, to tear them apart; so to speak.

Thanks Jay. Looking foward to seeing the new stuff as it sounds quite promising from what Keith described.

Great review - looking at maybe buying one of these in the new year, this actually tells me what I need to know and for what I want the bike is still near the top of the list - a bit of honesty about a bike’s limitations is a good thing. Not least because it makes a nice change from magazines selling advertising space or the typical 13 year olds “OMG ths bik is XLNT, bst BIk ervr” internet reviews.
Props, as I understand one says.
