Richie Schley and Rocky Mountain part ways
Wednesday, November 29th, 2006One of the most well known names in the freeride movement, Richie Schley, signed up with Rocky Mountain back in 1996. NSMB reports that they have now parted ways and it will be interesting to see who picks up this icon.
“In 1996 when Richie Schley started riding Rocky Mountain bikes Gretzky signed with the Rangers, Kyle Strait was in grade four and freeride was the newest thing in snowboarding. A chapter in the history of mountain bike freeriding has come to an end; Richie Schley and Rocky Mountain Bicycles have parted company.”
