Jamis Carbon Fiber DH Frame

Decline got a hold of the Jamis Carbon Fiber DH Frame to add to their mtb heritage museum and it will be interesting to see where frames go as more and more carbon fiber frames contine to show up (Lahar, bcd, etc).

“The frame was designed by Tom Watson of Watson Performance in Hood River, Oregon, 541-386-6911. He is a well known moto suspension tuner. The frame was manufactured by LP Composites of White Salmon Washington. They are better known for their tiger strip carbon barends(so freekin’ cool!)anyways. They also made a cross country version. This bike was very plush but pedaled horribly. They would probably be okay with a modern platform shock. That’s all I know.” -Shane Wilson

Please note that the Jamis bike is from 1997.

The little blurb on the front page makes the bike sound like it is a modern day Jamis bike.

  • ohhhh. Yeah, i was thinking why it had a square-taper bb and an RC…

  • wow! for 1997 it has a beautiful design
