Review: Giro Hex
Thursday, November 16th, 2006The Hex is Giro’s answer to the budget minded rider that still wants some high end style and features without breaking the bank. Bike Mag took a look at the Hex and found that it’s a very worthy helmet. The Hex sports 21 vents and weighs almost the same as the far more expensive Xen. It features a EPS foam interior, polycarbonate shell, removable visor, Roc Loc 4 rentention system, and comes in six colors.
“If you’re looking for a quality all-mountain helmet, you can’t go wrong with either model. But the fact that the new Hex has a fighting chance against the Xen, an industry standard, is pretty impressive. And the $80 price makes it stand out even more.”
