2007 Shimano XTR Weights

Got an assortment of pictures of 2007 XTR products on the scale from a variety of weight forums. The weight decrease in the 07 lineup isn’t that much from the parts below. The only real part where signifigant weight is lost is with the seperate xtr brake lever.

The previous levers (XT/Deore/LX) came in at around 122g each, which makes for savings of roughly 30 grams with these new brake levers.

The front derailleur also is a bit porkier as well. The XTR shifters have seen a weight reduction. I feel in part that this is due to no gear indicator on the 07 models.

Most of the other weights for the parts are pretty close to last year’s XTR weights with the new XTR(959 esque) pedals dropping roughly 40g on the set.
