Specialized 2007 Understanding the ride : Total Suspension Integration

If you’ve been under a rock these past two weeks and haven’t heard anything about Specialized’s new bikes then heres your chance to hear directly from the horse’s mouth of what Specialized officially has in store for 2007.

pricing plan as seen on mtbr:
MSRP on the Epic Marathon Carbon is $4900.
MSRP on the Epic Marathon M5 is $4200.
MSRP on the S-Works Epic Disc(that only comes in Carbon–really) is $6500
The frame did not change from 06. The shock was designed by Mick McAndrews, formerly of Rock Shox and Fox. He is having the best manufacturers in China make this shock. Because of the simplicity of the new design compared to the old one, I am not worried about warranty at all.

At this point, the shock is not available as an upgrade to your existing Epic but that is in the works for the future.
