Obviously you’ve seen these up close, so i was wondering if you could tell me more about the less obvious changes from last year to the SX Trail, like the rear travel and the forks on the middle and furthest back models in the pic. i was looking forward to the existing 170mm travel and i know specialized only have ‘06 smalls (the size i need) left in stock so if the ’07’s are 150mm or something i may just have to get this year’s before they run out. But any info you could give me to help me make my decision would be majorly apreciated plz.

Just Got myself the 2007 Demo 8 three weeks back. I’ve heard lots of comments on the bike espescially the new frame design and paintwork, but I think Specialized R&D has done enough research and testing before coming out with this new frame. It 1lb lighter!!! Cant deny the paintwork is a bit shabby and the grey one a bit sissy ha ha but still to me Demo 8 is still the best bike I’ve ridden.
Still getting use to handling the bike on sharp turn and switchbacks/berms cause of the long cage. SUPERB in doin drops!!! Cant feel a thing!
