Shimano XTR hasn’t come in a short cage configuration for some time (M952 days).  With the introduction of the Saint gruppo, Shimano most likely felt that the need for a short cage XTR derailleur  was no longer necessary but we felt it was time for a little customized one SickLines style and brought it back. 2009 Gravity East #4 - Windham Mountain DH Photos

Photos from Gravity East race #4 at Windham Mountain in Windham, NY are available. Photos from Saturday’s practice as well as Sunday’s downhill race final are in separate galleries. 300+ photos are available so there should be at least one shot of everyone at the event. Anthill Films has just finished putting together the first rider profile for their upcoming film titled “FOLLOW ME”. The short video embeded above interviews Matt Hunter about riding bikes since birth and a teaser of his role in Anthill’s new movie. The profile was shot in Kamloops with Matt and Kurt Sorge during Anthill’s first official shoot for the film. Anthill’s new flick should be quite impressive when it is done. Cane Creek 110 Headset

Headsets may not be the most exciting part of a bike build but it is important that they function correctly. Team Kenda Morewood had a spectacular weekend as Mitch Delfs takes 9th place at the 5th World Cup round of the season, in Maribor, Slovenia.

Team mate Nathan Rennie was not present at Maribor as he is back in Australia in order to help heal up a few nagging injuries and train for the World Championships at home in Canberra, a track where he raced to a second place finish last year.

Our friend Andre owns rushsports.co.za and he is pretty good at finding little gems such as this one.  He stumbled upon a patent FSA has applied for that looks quite tantalizing to say the least and Greg from Straitline beamed over this link to us.  An 11 speed derailleur unlike any other so far.  Will we ever see this produced?
